Richard is a Financial Planner with Freedom Planning and Wealth Advisors. He started his career in the industry 1996 as a Financial Advisor in local Southern California banks and has since become an Independent Advisor. He has been with Lincoln Financial Advisors (LFA) since 2017. LFA rebranded to Osaic FA in 2024. Then Osaic FA folded into its affiliate B/D Osaic Wealth in January 2025. He is committed to serving his clients with integrity, care, and professionalism. It is his mission to meet and exceed the expectations of his clients and understand their own unique individual needs. He adheres to the philosophy - "Serve First, Last, and AlwaysSM -which was conceived over 60 years ago by legendary leader Stuart Smith and still drives our business today.
He has been married for over 27 years to his wife, and has 3 children, which he adores. In his free time, he enjoys coaching baseball. In 2017 he coached a team from Covina, CA winning the PONY League World Series by defeating Seoul, South Korea in extra innings. He also enjoys traveling with his wife and kids.
Richard was educated at the University of La Verne in California and is a Certified Retirement Plan Consultant (CRPC). He holds a Series 7 & 66 license and a California Life and Disability license.
